Charcuterie Board for Two

Some nights we opt to do a simple wine & cheese meal instead of preparing a full dinner.  Today we found some tasty treasures at Aldi to create our own charcuterie board for two.  Aldi never disappoints with their endless variety of specialty cheeses for cheap, but our favorite find of the day had to be the Cheddar Sunflower Crisps.  We even found our Pinot Noir there!

The French term, "Charcuterie," is the art of preparing cured or smoked meats.  Here we have some Italian salami, hot sopressata, and capicolla.  We also included 3 types of cheddar: truffle, cave-aged, and cranberry studded.  Add some fruit, pickles or olives to your board and you've got a tasty  and romantic meal for two.

Cheers!
